First of all, I just wanted to say I miss you so much The Haute Pursuit. Fashion Week is not the same without you. NEXT TIME. It's gonna be on like donkey kong! Which is also why I hardly showed my face for Fashion Week and took a breather. However, I did got together with my good friends to celebrate Fashion's Night Out. It was meh... but you know, it is what it is. I'm happy to be in good company.

But the highlight of the night was stopping by DALAGA, a cute but fierce pop-up store with collections from super talented up and coming designers. One of the talented designers happen to be our friend Krystal Rae.

And finally a special thank you to Elton who interviewed me and my friend for his online blog covering Filipino American: the FilAm, though I am not Filipino, my good friends are. MABUHAY! Y'all know I had to represent for the colored girls! 50 Shades of Brown.

When asked what I thought about FNO, or fashion in general, I simply said:

“Fashion is meaningless to me, but style is everything. When you don’t have money, when you don’t have the luxury of buying things, what do you do? You become resourceful. Like this bag I made last night out of plastic. You find it on the street, you make a bag out of it, it becomes fashionable. It becomes your style.”
