THE BOY WITH THE RED BAG

I just got a haircut, getting ready for San Francisco trip this coming week. omg! So, I was inspired by the bags from Acne Men's Spring 2010 collection... that I decided to make my own canvas messenger bag, and this is how it all went down...

ACNE MEN'S SPRING 2010:
the inspiration...

MY OWN VERSION:
my mom used to be a seamstress before we moved to the US in 1998.
now, I often use her sewing machines for personal projects lol...

serging the edges so they won't fray...

my new haircut: the inside is short, but the top layer is covering it

slipping a flexible plastic sheet inside the base, make it more sturdy

sewing the hollow line for the straps

pushing the straps through the hollow line...

sewing the straps in half to make it smaller...

woo hoo! after 3 hours of sewing and cutting, it came to life...

do you like my little pocket I added to it?!

THE BOY WITH THE RED BAG:

ok, it's time to clean my messy room, and start packing...
see ya in SF!
