Hiya stranger! I've been busy... a bit exhausted from all the stress and hustling from living here in the city. One thing I've realized is that your life really is what you make it. Attitude is also a major thing too. If your attitude is positive, even the most frustrating situation can seem a bit lighter. I am away from my family alone in this city, but I have my friends... they are my second family. Cherish your friends, and love your life. Love both the sad and happy times. And don't forget to take care of yourself because being young is a gift.

Two of my good friends here in the city; Peter (who I've known for 3 years now) and Eric happened to celebrate their birthday(s) together with a red theme. Peter threw an event 2 weeks ago but we had to cancel it because of the tropical storm Irene. So after 2 weeks wait, it all went down this past weekend. I'm just so happy and so thankful to know such genuine people I could truly call friends. I've been feeling homesick but I have to be strong, in this beautiful and dirty city you must learn how to balance!
