This post pretty much sums up my life in New York City the past 2 months. FRIENDS. FOOD. FREEDOM. I get really homesick sometimes being away from my mom. I'm pretty much alone in this big city. But I met these wonderful people who I can call my second family; love me enough to show up and eat my cooking. So much support and good vibrations. No judgments. Nothing to be ashamed of. I can be my crazy/intense/generous/stupid/dramatic self with. We are giving y'all that Southeast Asian flavor, because we are Birds of Paradise! Mabuhay!
