It's that time again. This year is just going by SO FAST! That's why I don't like it when people say "I'm bored" or "Oh, I have time to kill" — that makes me think: right now, you have all this time and you wanna kill it? But later in life when you're "running out of time" you wonder where it all went? What I'm saying is: enjoy it. Time is a luxury, use it wisely.

Summertime Sadness is in full swing. This time last year I met someone in such a short period of time that changed my perspective on love and lust completely. Desire is such a deadly thing. You still want someone even when you know they are not for you. What is it about our human instincts and desires? We just simply want what we want right? It feels like sometimes we have to be near death to feel alive. Weird. Life is such a contradiction. And so is New York City, beautiful + dirty at the same time... but I love it for what it is. So many people are lonely here. So gloriously lonely together.
