SEEKING SOLACE

My subway train ride home from work every day is spent dreaming about my heros and my love for the post-apocalyptic future. The themes of change and solitude plays big roles in my daily life. I love change and I love being alone (sometimes). It's very hard to explain this feeling of wanting to be with the rest of the world and also wanting to be lost in my own private vastness. Times are hard for dreamers, huh? One thing I know for sure is that, to be a creative soul you must not fear of being alone and misunderstood. Not everyone sees the world like you. As Emerson have stated: To be great is to be misunderstood.

I went to see Kanye West's YEEZUS show a few nights ago. It was life-changing. As always. Haven't seen him live since "Glow In The Dark" tour during "Graduation" era, that also changed my life. Kanye and Gaga are my 2 biggest inspirations. Thank you Kanye for a fantastic live show last night. All in your post-apocalyptic, spiritual redemption and Margiela mask's glory. You're an endless source of inspiration! — Part of his speech that night:
“We have NOTHING to lose but EVERYTHING to gain. If you're a creative, put your hands up! The truth is inside you, it always has been. Fuck what they try to tell and sell you. Don't let these dream-killers kill your dreams!”
