Camel, Coat, Cold, Oh the C words! I've been on a camel+white+cream palette lately because it reminds me of warm weather and hinting of the Mexican desert (which me and Vanessa are going to next week for Christmas). But back to the cold weather, a camel coat is a good investment — never out of style, and versatile for freezing winter days or chilly spring nights. MMMM... camel... Egypt... sun... ugh. OK. Earth to Quan! I'm sorta out of it lately. Blame it on the monotonous wintry weather!

The bonus graphic treat I did for this look is a bit more personal than the previous ones solely because it was inspired by the phrase "keep an eye out" — to be aware of who you are, where you are, what you want in life. To be awakened. This makes me think of that scene in The September Issue when Grace Coddington was at the Versailles and said something along the lines of “Always keep your eyes open… keep watching, because whatever you see out the window, or wherever, can inspire you.” What that means to be is to be present. To let go of worries about the future, or pains of the past, and to be in the presence. Live now. And that's what I'll do... keep on dreaming with one eye open!
