Happy birthday to me! I'm turning 29 today... it's both existential and exiting! It just hit me that this is my last year of my 20's... eek!
A little story: when I was 15 I was deathly afraid of growing old solely because I could never imagine answering someone's question of my age, like, hi I'm 30 — that sounded so weird and scary at the time being only 15. I would always joke I'll just jump off the Golden Gate bridge when I'm 30.
Here we are now... I'm turning 29, and wondering: does it really get better? does it get easier? Sigh. Those are questions you won't find answers to, but I think will just have to live into the answers.
Regardless, I don't want to be afraid as I am starting a new stage of solitude and self-awareness.
Plus something fun to be cheery about: I woke up just fine today AND I share the same birthday with Drake!
