PREVIOUSLY ON INSTAGRAM 1.0

Lately, I've been on a hiatus trying to lose "digital weight" a topic that was brought up by Ev Bogue. As I see it, you don't necessarily have to lose digital weight but instead you should learn to maintain and balance that weight — whether digital or physical. I'm a person who embrace both good and bad, high and low, so it's only natural for me to embrace both digital and physical.

I try to be social on and offline. I want people to realize that it's OK to embrace technology, but they shouldn't stop there. Let technology be the icebreaker — the encouragement to want to solidify the online bonding in real life. I guess it really is about balance, those who lose too much become anxious and want to purge everything — don't do that. Just pause for a second, take a little break, have a little getaway to gather your thoughts back in perspective and then try your best to maintain them on your own terms. Remember, you don't have to do anything you don't want to.

Yikes. I didn't mean to go off topic and had a long response to Ev's idea about losing digital weight.

Anyhow, I've been obsessively using instagram (follow me: geneticboi) and I think I just found a convenient way to update my doings in between all the big blog posts. I'm gonna start gathering my random instagram photos weekly and post them on my blog. So, here goes the first update.

P.S. I dyed my hair back to black yesterday because I felt like it. I know, I'm quite impulsive!
